UNESCO EE-Net National Chapters

The UNESCO Entrepreneurship Education Network, commonly referred to as "EE-Net" was established in late 2013 by UNESCO and the Asia-Pacific Programme of Educational Innovation for Development (UNESCO-APEID) to promote entrepreneurship education in the Asia-Pacific region. Its mission is to engage policy-makers, educators, researchers, entrepreneurs, students and communities to enhance understanding and knowledge in entrepreneurship education through various platforms and activities

By increasing the visibility of entrepreneurship education, we inspire stakeholders to engage with and support our initiatives. Ultimately, our goal is to build a robust Entrepreneurship Education Ecosystem that nurtures innovation and empowers the next generation of leaders and changemakers.

  • Educates: engages educators, researchers, students, and communities to improve their understanding of entrepreneurship education 

  • Collaborates: facilitates discussions, coordinates research, and recommends policies 

  • Shares best practices: disseminates best practices and innovative programs for young people 

  • Develops courses: collects insights from entrepreneurs to develop and update entrepreneurship education courses 

  • Builds networks: builds networks between educators, researchers, entrepreneurs, students, and communities

  • UNESCO EE-Net has national chapters in countries like China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Uzbekistan 

  • EE-Net holds meetings to present accomplishments and future activities, and to identify potential partnerships 

  • EE-Net hosts thematic workshops, expert meetings, and educator's training workshops
