UNESCO Entrepreneurship Education Network EE-Net
Patron's Message

It is with profound honor and a deep sense of duty that I assume my role as Patron of the UNESCO Entrepreneurship Education Network (EE-Net) Southeast Asia. This initiative, rooted in the noble pursuit of empowering future generations through education and innovation, aligns seamlessly with Malaysia’s enduring commitment to sustainable development and regional unity.

The UNESCO EE-Net Southeast Asia Regional Secretariat, now anchored in Malaysia under the stewardship of the Asia Institute of Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, and Diplomacy (AiSED)—marks a pivotal moment for our nation and the ASEAN region.
Malaysia’s selection as the host nation underscores its steadfast leadership in advancing education, fostering economic resilience, and championing cross-border collaboration. Our nation’s strategic position within ASEAN, bolstered by a robust educational infrastructure and dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem, uniquely positions Malaysia to drive this transformative agenda as a regional leader in sustainable development
Message From His Highness Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj
Raja Muda of Selangor. Patron of UNESCO Entrepreneurship Education (EE-Net) Southeast Asia
Entrepreneurship education is not merely a tool for economic progress; it is a catalyst for societal empowerment and a cornerstone of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. By nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit among our youth, women, and communities, we lay the foundation for inclusive growth, job creation, and innovation that transcends borders. Malaysia, through this Secretariat, will spearhead efforts to harmonize policies, share best practices, and cultivate partnerships that elevate Southeast Asia as a global hub for sustainable entrepreneurship.

As Patron, I call upon governments, educators, industry leaders, and civil society across the region to unite in this endeavor. Let us harness Malaysia’s legacy of diplomacy, multiculturalism, and innovation to forge a future where education and entrepreneurship become instruments of shared prosperity. Together, we can ensure that Southeast Asia’s potential is not only realized but celebrated on the world stage.

In closing, I reaffirm my unwavering support for the UNESCO EE-Net and its vision. May this initiative inspire a generation of visionary leaders and innovators, guided by the principles of sustainability, equity, and excellence.
